College Advising:

  • Provides guidance on general education and college requirements
  • Helps with academic planning and course selection
  • Monitors progress toward graduation
  • Supports with petitions, forms, and policy questions or exceptions
  • Connects students to campus resources and opportunities 

Department Advising:

  • Advises on major-specific course requirements 
  • Assists with major planning and course sequencing 
  • Offers insight into research, internships, and department opportunities 
  • Approves major related forms and substitutions 
  • Supports academic and career goals within the major 

Career Planning:

  • Offers resume and cover letter reviews
  • Prepares students for interviews and job searches 
  • Provides career exploration and plannning guidance 
  • Connects students with internships and job opportunities 
  • Host recruiting and networking events
