Navigating Your Federal Career: Expo for Students, Interns and Recent Grads

Location: Off campus
The expo will feature representatives from federal agencies who can share internship and job opportunities with attendees, in addition to resources on finding their next career opportunity. Our program will also feature a keynote lecture from a senior U.S. Government official. This event is open to students, interns and recent graduates in the Washington DC –Metro Area to provide networking opportunities with federal agencies and guidance on the federal hiring process. University career and academic advisors are also welcome to attend this event.

The FREE event will feature presentations on topics related to admissions requirements, gaining experience, skill building, and professional development. This unique, conference-style event allows students and alumni the opportunity to engage in workshops and panels that address a variety of important topics related to career exploration and admission to health professional programs. Presenters will include health professional school admissions representatives, healthcare professionals, current graduate students, pre-health advisors, and student leaders. Participants will have the opportunity to network with professionals in their desired field and engage with other students to learn more about how to achieve their goals in healthcare.
