We are seeking employers and UMD alumni within the field of law enforcement, government, advocacy, and legal field to attend this event and share their career paths and knowledge of the field with current students. This could serve as an excellent way to brand your organization or to give back to a Terp! If you have any job/internship openings, we’d love for you to share them with us and the students, but the event is primarily for networking and career exploration! This is a free event.
The event will provide students with a place to learn about career paths, skills in demand, make new contacts, and possibly even gain job or internship leads.
If your organization is recruiting, contacts made at this event could lead to new hires! However, even if positions are not currently available, we hope you will attend and share career advice and answer questions about the work you do.

Parking Information
Parking is available in Regents Garage free of charge after 4 p.m. (in all non-metered spots). Directions to Regents Garage
Walk from Regents to Stamp Student Union:
Park on the third floor of the south side of the garage and take the walkway over the street. Cross that walkway and proceed to your right around the building to the Hornbake Plaza. Walk straight and pass South Hornbake Library (on your left) and take a right when you reach Campus Drive. The Stamp Student Union will be on your right hand side at the top of the hill.
The Colony Ballroom is located on the 2nd floor of the Stamp Student Union. Walk into Stamp and make a right after the Information Desk. Use the elevator or stairs to go up one floor. Exit and make a left down the hallway to the Colony Ballroom.
**If you are attending the Fall Career & Internship Fair on this day (9/29), please follow their parking instructions. You do not have to move parking garages for the Networking Night**

Fair Schedule:
- 5:15 - 5:45 p.m. | Arrive/park and attend the welcome reception
- 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. | Event officially begins, individual networking/talk with students
- 8:00 p.m. | Night concludes
Do I need to bring anything?
You will be assigned a 3x6 table with two chairs and a table sign so students can locate you with ease. Students will be excited just to speak with you, so don’t feel like you need to bring anything with you. If you happen to have materials from your organizations, we listed some materials below that would be appropriate.
- Table posters or brochures about the organization.
- Business cards.
- Description of openings, if relevant.
Business casual to business professional attire is requested.
Registration will close when we reach capacity or September 26, 2022, whichever occurs first.
Registration deadline to be included in the printed program: September 21, 2022.
