The Strong Interest Inventory® 244 (SII) assessment is a powerful tool that can help you make satisfying decisions about your career and education. Understanding your Strong report can help you identify a career focus and begin your career-planning and exploration process. Keep in mind that the Strong assessment measures interests, not skills or abilities. The results can help guide you toward rewarding careers, work activities, education programs, and leisure activities—all based on your interests.
SII is a free, formal career self-assessment instrument that requires interpretation by your SII-certified career coach. The instrument consists of 244 items and takes 30-35 minutes to complete. Identify your interest pattern, learn how your interests relate to 243 occupations and 33 academic majors; receive suggestions regarding majors and activities to further explore your interests. SII was developed by psychologist E.K. Strong in the early 20th century; the instrument has been continuously updated based on extensive research.
